They say an image is worth a thousand words. The one to describe X-Cube is without a shadow of a doubt, one of a chameleon. In fact, this can easily show you how colourful this artist can be modifying his tints according to the outgoing vibe, seasons and even his moods. He has evolve in many ways as if you were taking a walk in the woods, going through darker places or enlighten spots, from the heaviest to the lightest sounds. Learn to tame him, because that’s what he is.
Being a long time music lover, all kinds, it has been easy for him to let himself touched and inspired by many styles. It could start from an Ambient style, or Drum’n’Bass, Trip-Hop, some Experimental, Rock, Metal, Hard Rock, Blues, Jazz, RnB, Soul, Progressive and even from easy listening ballads. Therefore, when X-Cube began in the Djing industry, he would share his love of music through Techno and Hard-Techno. From time to time he has been influenced by Electro and Electro-Techno. However, in the time being, he’s having lots of fun playing Deep-House, House, Tech-House, Minimal-Techno and Techno. For those who have already the pleasure knowing him can assure you that wherever he’s playing, this artist knows how to charm you and make you have a smile upon your face. He manages real well how to make you dance, have fun and make your own little world around you.
Throughout the years, he has known how to make his own little spot on the Montreal Electronic Music Scene and it’s Nightlife. In fact, he has been playing with Montreal’s Greatest whom are also friends such as Creator, Mateo Murphy, Pheek, Mini, Maus, Laflèche, Alex Axx Koss, Yaz, Jeff Fontaine, Bender, to name only a few. He has also shared the tables with international talents such as Miss Kittin, Misstress Barbara, Thomas Krome, Alex Bau, Preach, Chris Liberator and Anton X.
In addition, he has performed in many places in the Montreal and Quebec areas, bars, after-hours and lounges such as Hohm, Salon Daomé, Parking, Stereo Bar, Dagobert (Qc), S.A.T, Mile End Bar, Le Cercle (Qc), Helsinki (Ottawa), Velvet Club, Pearl Club, Le Passeport, De Lima, Soho Lounge, Les Terrasses Bonsecours, Bistro Vu, Le Bar d'Hiver, Aria, Circus, Gravity and Cube. Finally, he has offered amazing gigs in events like the Piknic Électronik, Festival Montréal en Lumières, Électro-Chic, Sugr, I Love Montreal 2, RaveMontreal 13, 14, 16, 18 and 20.
